Reiki is a Japanese form of therapy that promotes relaxation and healing. It is one of the fastest growing complementary therapies in the world and it is used in many hospitals, nursing homes, hospices and spas throughout the United States.

Reiki is a simple and safe technique that works in conjunction with other medical or therapeutic modalities to speed recovery and ease side effects. Sessions are conducted with the patient fully clothed on a treatment table or seated in a chair during the 60-minute session. During your Reiki session the practitioner will use intention to channel life force energy through their hands on or above your body near structures of your endocrine system, vital organs and trouble spots on the back and front of the body. An increased sense of relaxation, clarity and well-being is often reported after treatment.

Although research has shown that Reiki provides an excellent support for many medical conditions, it is not a substitute for medical treatment. Reiki practitioners do not diagnose medical conditions.

Reiki & Acupuncture
Try integrating these two techniques for a powerful experience. After a consultation, the practitioner will insert acupuncture needles according to your needs, then proceed with a Reiki treatment. While the acupuncture revitalizes the meridians, the Reiki works with chakras, endocrine system and the energy field as a whole.
